Just like what ia said before MOTOGP IS A SPANISH (SPAIN) SERIES and not a prototype series. I am sure gresini would like to have marquez in their garage as a rider for one season. Rather than sticking with barbera though his doing a great job beating the factory boys. No wonder Casey is leaving at the end of this season. "EZPELETA YOU'RE FULL OF KAKA"

re: "translated to "well, we removed the rookie rule because I am Spanish. the championship is owned by a Spanish company, Marquez is a Spanish rider, and Repsol is a huge Spanish sponsor."

i'm of the belief they removed the rookie rule because marco simoncelli DIED.

yes he died and they need to do something to keep what's left of MotoCRT from dying along with him. while it's easy to beat up on them for all their "spanish-ness", that's really just making them victims of circumstance. bottom line is marquez is popular, he's a draw, and may have the star-power to fill the void (at least a portion) created by the sudden losses of capi, simo, rossi (forthcoming), and now stoner. remember, MotoGP's about the "cult of personality", star-effing, jock riding, etc. (something we see exhibited here everyday on crash).

so what dorna's experiencing is a 4-ALARM FIRE...!!! and marquez is simply the water. i don't blame people for wanting to put out fires, however i WOULD blame them for standing-by while a house burns. so rather than splitting hairs and being petty so typical of the modern day fan, i'm going to allow this.

What a spineless ****er...

We heve no chance of seeing the potenial front runners in moto gp even given a chance unless major money isn't lining his pocket.

Hate this ****... It's not bike racing and its rubbish..

And Casey knows this ...

Voted with his feet ... Fair play to him ...

It not about who the rookie but where they come from. If the advantage of ther rules change goes to either or Spanish or Italian ride the rules will be change other wise the hypocritical Ezpeleta won't even consider it. for example One Tyre rule, weight rule, new tyre new and now rookie rule are just to name four.

While you are changing the the rules once agina, why not add one so the that not more than 1/4 of the rider are from the same nation.
Don't give me that you want the best rider in the series as that is BullS..t. The best rider in the world don't get a look in, as the MotoGP is so Spanish focused other sponsor do't want to get invloves as that Spanish market is too small and too poor. thus you have vicious cirlce. To break this you must get a new CEO..
