@ pcxmac

I agree with you 100%!

I appreciate the fact that Marquez would've had difficulty seeing Espargaro there, BUT, I believe once he had his near fall and was recovering, it was his duty to make sure he was returning to a clean line, not about to send Espargaro flying...

IMO the punishment was unjust, and I am glad to see it overturned. There was no malice involved in his actions, nor IMO did he intend to knock Pol off.

I find it interesting that people think Marquez should get a penalty but Simo's harsh pass on Dani was okay.

The right decision has been made as wasnt Marc's fault at all. Pol was behind and should have waited to see where Marc was going to go before being rash and diving for a gap that was always going to close.

Marquez lost control, ran wide, and cut back to the racing line. By losing his line you can't blame Espargaro for spotting the gap! Yes, there was no malice in it, but there was a whole lot of ignorance, immaturity and as pcxmac said, blinkers. It was Marquez's responsibility to make sure there was noone coming up the inside.

Coupled with the fact this isn't his first irresponsible collision, a penalty might have taught him a lesson... Remember the Willairot incident last season?

Can you imagine he does that top Jorge next year? Or worse, Pedrosa? His Spanish Repsol partner?!?!

He is definitely a star of the future, an amazing talent, but if he doesn't start thinking about things in a more mature fashion, he will end up killing someone, specially on the faster MotoGP bikes.

As for the Simo pass on Pedrosa, Simo was fairly through on Dani, Dani decided not to back off, and Simo was PAST Dani.. RIP Marco
