It's not Marquez fault. It's the PEOPLE who helps him get away with his antics, people who overturned the "Rookie Rule" so they can send him straight to MotoGP for a factory ride. In other words....Asskissers!

Maybe it's time to put this one to bed, but what about the next one? Will he get away with it? Marques has proven to be a danger over & over again, and it's the other riders involved that pay the price. A race ban is overdue.

If its not rubbing its not racing!

let the decision stand an it may bring him down a peg or two and get him thinking... " just cause i have the biggest sponser an money thrown at me left right an centre doesnt mean i can do what i want like a spoilt brat" then maybe we will see better racing and more mature riding style

Its cuz of things like this that Motogp is becoming boring, Dorma change things to suit ANY Spaniard can do what ever he likes.

Alot of BS going on while more people are switching off and watching WSBK lol

So if you run-on at a chicane and rejoin the track further on does that mean you no longer have bother looking to see if anyone is coming before rejoining?

@ Nick

Pol saw a gap and attempted to go for it, who wouldn't? Marquez Recovered and got back on the gas and was closing the line off. It has taken me longer to type this than the incident actually occured.

If Dani is at fault for not backing off (which is incorrect) why is Pol not at fault for doing the same thing?

Simo cut Dani's nose clean off. Simo's knee made contact with Dani's front tire, which caused the bike to stand up.

The difference in Marquez and Simo is that Simo knew Dani was there, Marquez did not.

Marquez is very fast and hugely talented of that there is no doubt (though if Moto2 had a minimum weight limit to match the control engine and tyres then things would be a bit harder for him I think - he already has a massive budget advantage as well).
What I really don't want to see is a next generation Prima Donna coming through, who has too much clout and can influence things to go his way just a bit more than it ought to. And I'm afraid that is just what we are seeing with MM and management. There's been far too much of that, and it is damaging the sport.
There has also been more than enough incidences involving MM for the authorities to have come down on him far harder than they have done (basically not at all). The organisers are doing MM no favours either, as his overly-aggressive moves might just end up with him being the one badly hurt and the sport losing one hell of a rider. But right now he's got no reason to change the way he does things - I wonder if he won't either unt
