So now that Lorenzo is leading the championship, now Yamaha finaly is starting to release the settings for Spies.
The problem with spies, is that in his contract doesn't say he's gonna run the same updates that Lorenzo.

I think this is a testament to rider confidence being one of the largest factors in motorcycle roadracing. Sure, you've got to have a certain talent level, and certainly the equipment must be good enough to allow you to rise to your talent level, but comfort with the track means a lot. That's why we see Ben near the front at Assen. Its early times though -- we'll see if it lasts.

Anybody read Superbikeplanet today? Talk of a Suzuki announcement at Misano. Michael Jordan in MotoGP and All is not well at Ducati! Last week Schwantz wrote a column on there, suggesting He and Rossi may be onto something. So here is me (purely) reading between the lines. Suzuki to announce at Misano a complete factory level return to MotoGP owned by Michael Jordan with full Pepsi (or Gatorade, Jordan has a deal with them already, and they are owned by Pepsi) sponsorship, and managed by Kevin Schwantz, teaming Rossi and Ben Spies! Bit of a reach? A boy can dream can't he.

The downer is that Nicky is still in Limbo (option expires after Assen) at Ducati! After all he has done there to be broomed at this stage of the game would be an utter travesty!

YEAH SURE!! AND PEOPLE AGREE WITH THIS???? hahaha
When you have to fight a GIANT like Honda you can't back down.
Yamaha gives Spies the same equipment as Jorge its also point for the manufactory title.
The AGE of Rossi/Jorge is over, when Jorge had to ask to get the same updates as Rossi.
He got it and Rossi broke hi's leg and went the wrong way in hi's carreer

Rumor has it that if Dorna get their way on rev limits, than Ducati is gone! Maybe that's why they have not picked up Nicky's option. Plus, Dorna provides a nice excuse for Ducati to get out from under that POS that no one can ride and go back to WSBK.
