'Tomorrow we're going to work on making the bike better at changing direction, and we'll keep trying to make it better for race distance' - Nicky Hayden

Hayden's in talks with WSBK teams! Might be a good move for him if he can get on a competitive team. HIs talent has been waisted in MOTO GP since 06. Thow he has been looking good as of late.

Id like to see Nicky be the number 1 in Ducati next year, give him some more confidence. He sure is making rossi look lost. I know the times were tight but rossi did that lap on the back of Pedrosa

I love that Hayden is doing so well this year. His work ethic is second to none. I fear if he returned to WSBK it would be for only 1 year though, as he would demolish that crew. And before you pissy Penelopes get all twisted, I happen to think WSBK is the better series, but Hayden has too much talent for them.

And why is it we never hear about JT's second title on the Ducati when the only other contender was that French guy (also on a Ducati) who crashed out the last round to lose the title? Would be funny if that were 2006 also, wouldn't it?

Superbike Planet has a quote from Nick that stated Ducati is working on Rossi and not him. That WSBK teams have approached him but he would rather stay in GP.
I suppose that for the first time in a while I was wrong on my prediction of where Nick lands. But, to be honest, unless a strong Private team approaches Nick for 2013 it seems logical that he take a WSBK ride on a Ducati or Honda.

Interesting read:

h--p://www.motomatters.com/analysis/2012/06/19/motogp 2013 silly season what we know fo.html

(add h t t p and underscores between "motogp, 2013, silly, season, what, we, know and fo)

..though, Hayden has not regularly matched or beaten Rossi (as purported in the link) in 2011, and they both are 50/50 this year.
