The best rider, on the 2nd best bike takes pole. But his bike can't run race distance without shredding its tyres. The 2nd best rider on the best bike will probably win the race. The former best rider can't beat his team mate. Dani put in another brilliant effort, but up again CS and JL, it's tough.

I hope Rossi sticks with Ducati and they become competitive again. I hope Hayden keeps his ride - he deserves it more than anyone. I don't begrudge Lorenzo another title this year, he's the only rider able to push Stoner, and gives it his considerable all. Yamaha built the best bike, and they deserve a win.

To the *****s on here who post retarded comments about Stoner, he's better than you - in every way.

To the *****s going after Spies, get over yourselves - you'd never beat him.

Part of the reason Dorna is turning this sport into a travelling monkey show is because it mainly attracts the empty heads reflected in the emotive crap posted on here by some. To those posting objective pos

Big Rossi fan and have been for a number of years but I think that's me done I can/won't support someone who refuses to try! That was a joke if the bike is that bad then how is Hayden that far ahead in time? Sorry but after 23 months and that kind of a Proformence he don't deserve any support until he starts to try!

Sure, Rossi is not trying...Hayden is a incredible, huge 300 ms ahead of him, so he was trying really really hard. Let's see where the Dukes are going to be tomorrow...probably also first from last...It must be the riders not trying...

@ weej

Simple, cr*p bike, cr*ap regulations designed / imposed to influence results (no different to F1 with tyres & mid season rule ammendments).

It's not Stoner lovers weej, it's people who watch and give credit where i'ts due. I don't believe Rossi is as good as he was, but he sure isn't as bad as the bike makes him (or Hayden look). Stoner is as good as he looks, but the bike won't while superior to the Ducati won't allow the pace for race distance at Stoners speed capability.

And to be clear I am a fan of Stoner, have always been a fan of Rossi, didn't like Lorenzo when he used to copy Rossi like stunts after a win, but am a convert and admire his talent immensely now. Yep a fan of each of them, but would like to see Stoner go out on top, and am sick of the ill informed or blind bias that leads to abuse of any of them, they deserve only admiration.
