"Everybody else is dealing with the hard tyre quite well and there is a good chance we have to use it in the race, but unfortunately we haven't been able to get it working."

Great lap and great effort by Casey Stoner, after a very difficult weekend. Let's hope he can find a good set up tomorrow during warm up to make the hard rear work, as it's very likely it will be the tyre for the race. Although Pedrosa said both tyres could be an option. We'll see.

Casey needs to go out guns blazing tomorrow.Twenty five points behind Jorge in the title chase is not where he wants to be.He cant afford to allow Jorge to stretch that lead any further or he really will have a big task on his hands. But i just cant see Jorge finishing off the podium this year.He is riding so smooth on a bike that does exactly what he wants it to do.

Those last couple laps by Casey in QP today were just INSANE. His skills and balls are incredible for sure.

Unfortunately, he doesn't have the race pace to match Lorenzo. Unless something happens to Jorge early, I'm afraid this will be a runaway win for him. On the hard tire, everyone else was .3-.5 sec back at a minimum.

i don't think i can remember any other world champions that spent nearly all there top class careers on problematic bikes , usually they always had perfect bikes after becoming champion with an army defending there interests to keep them going smooth.
jlo has little to worry about tomorrow in the race unless the repsols find a miracle to stop the tires going off too quick.
shame really because these three can give super high speed race long fights if only the tires would last most the race.
i don't think the chatter would bother stoner very much if it didn't destroy his tires.

"I think it's shaping up to be tight and tense, but I thought that last round too."

An optimist becomes a realist! Nice one.

There were times a few years ago when I believed "should be a great race tomorrow!" but it very rarely is
