Is this a precursor to a very strong possibility.
After all Rossi is being to open about Ducati's problems publicly now.
And if he wants another title he's going to have to jump ship.

I think Lorenzo would have the edge, especially after 2 years of riding the M1 while Rossi has been trying to get to grips with the Desmo, also the fact he's in his mid 20's and Rossi is now 33.

But I'm positive we'd be guaranteed some titanic battles, 2009 was one of the best seasons to watch of the recent ones.

"Valentino is a good rider, he has won a lot of titles and a lot of races,” he said. “I think he can still be competitive in MotoGP so he is an interesting rider for Yamaha. Of course there are other rides that could be good for them also, so they will have to decide."

Ouch! Lorenzo getting a dig in at Rossi there. In other words. He's a "good" rider (not "great") but no better than many others out there. Jorge will have the advantage if Rossi returns, but he will HATE the fact that all the attention will be on Rossi and he will play 2nd fiddle in the media stakes, even if Rossi loses.
