Amazing how VR still got so much camera time. I loved how they managed to get a shot of him in the PITS during the most exciting part of the race, when Stoner passed Pedrosa and was approaching the stadium.

While the race was ruined when Bautista skittled Lorenzo out at turn one, at least we weren't treated to Charlie 'Nightmare in a bubble car' Fox saying, "That's really shot the fox!", so maybe repeated criticism has finally got through to Mr Cliche.

Of course we will have the usual Stoner bashers claiming that Lorenzo would have won. Stoner and Pedrosa did 11 sub 1:35 laps in the first 16. That is as fast as Lorenzo did in practice. So the race would have been close and I don't think Lorenzo would have won it easy, if at all.

@who said that

"The only reason I can see for Crutchlow going to ducatti is to prove how good a rider he is by doing a Stoner and drag the Duc kicking and screaming to the finish line."

As much as I'd like to see that, if Cal can't consistently flog Dovi, he ain't going to pull a Stoner on the Duke.

@ooj And I love how you fail to mention they also so showed Colin Edwards in the Pits when he left the race.

Some people are so blind on their hate mission against certain riders that they will say anything regardless. Everyone screaming 'Rossi gave up' HE HAD A ******* LUMP OF RUBBER MISSING!
If that was Stoner you'd be in tears about the Bridgestone conspiracy, but because it's Rossi its just another chance to stick the knife in.. Pathetic.
Brilliant ride by Casey, shame about Jorge, Dani just never has that final bit of pace required if he wants to win the championship.

Hope Casey go to Yamaha to win another world championship with a third manufacturer. He's the only one capable of doing it. Put Lorenzo on the Duke & he'll realise how lucky he's been & how easy he's had it to start his motogp career with the factory Yamaha team.
