Yes there is going to anger among a leading rider like JoL- more so when his 25 point lead is reduced to 0. Lets not however forget that its all 'racing' - whats the point when a rider isn't going to 'race' . It (Bautisha's 'ridiculous' move) may have been just that, but otherwise he will not learn and gain experience the same as guys who come from the back of the grid and finish in the points-the podium-and even the win.

Jorge will soon calm down.He has to focus now on the job in hand. The slate has been wiped clean between him and Casey and he has to put this behind him and not dwell for too long on it.The championship has effectively started again.

Lorenzo is quite right to be furious. It's not like Bautista hasn't done this before - he did exactly the same thing at turn 1 at Valencia last year too, and took out several riders including Hayden, who suffered a broken wrist because of it.

If you look at the overhead footage, Bautista was never going to make the corner - he was still accelerating while everyone else is on the brakes. More than just a 'racing incident' it was a reckless and boneheaded attempt to gain early places, and when moves like that put other riders at extreme risk, it's right that he should be heavily penalised for it. At the moment he's just not learning from his mistakes.

I'm absolutely gutted for Jorge, losing a 25 point lead to a rider like Casey, in such an infuriating way is really terrible.
Bautista was incredibly reckless to try such a move on cold tyres, with cold brakes, but come on guys, its no conspiracy. Although I do think for such a move there should be consequences, destroying another riders world championship lead in such a stupid fashion should have some harsh consequences, simply writing it off as a 'racing incident' isnt good enough when were talking about possible World Titles, not 4th or 5th!!
