If Bautista is penalised I don't why Rossi wasn't penalised when he took out Stoner last season. Dorna is unfair. Stop crying over it JL let's move on. It's racing anything can happen.

the rules state no one can get a new engine for any reason whatsoever.
and yet track stewards told jlo he can have one almost immediately after the crash.
so i am watching very eagerly to see what transpires.
so far i have seen the rules abused or thrown out to help certain riders with regular Consistency.

Bautista starting from the back at Germany ..................... should make for an entertaining first corner ...... could backfire on Race direction !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously Motojunky, I haven't been called ignorant a lot of times in my life but that doesn't mean I'm not.
I'm old but always ready to learn something new any time of the day, so please tell those of us with no idea, what makes these incidents so different.
Thanks in advance.

Curious, what penalty did Rossi get for taking Stoner out at Jerez in 2011?

FYI - Accelerating means increasing speed. Just because everyone else was Decelerating does NOT mean Bautista was accelerating. He was just arriving at the corner at a higher speed.

Bautista was only quicker from the braking marker ownwards.

It looked more like he went for the carbon brakes and nothing was there (as carbon brakes do). There is also an adjuster that is set between sighting lap and start.
