Will the CRTs challenge the manufacturer MotoGP prototypes at the slow and twisty Sachsenring?

If you think more engines for CRT's is the way forward and to get them up to power...

You might as well put your team money in WSBK and run full factory Aprilia's for the same price using just as many engines as Checa and Biaggi do. Why the hell would you still want to be maximum back of the protogrid when you could be champion in WSBK?

Unless they had a Stoner clone rider that know how to compensate horse power disadvantage into a corner speed swinger, then they could have a change to put one of those CRT bike on the podium.

Sasha, because its racing in GP pays 10 times what it does in WSB. To get your travel expenses in WSB you have to finish in the top 15 the year before, its called a travel fund and been in place since 1988.

Edwards said his helmet deal alone is worth 10 times more where he is.

does anybody know why in the 90s and early 2000s satellite teams could win races? if u know the answer may be it could be a solution for motogp right now and we can forget about the CRTs

Jessica it was different then with 2t's although you leased the bike the engine rebuilding and tuning was up to the team. With Motogp 4t the Satelitte teams are not allowed to touch or even set up the engines, even before the limited engines the factories put a milage limit on them as part of the lease deal. Even the chassis are controlled under factory guidance.
One reason why Poncheral pushed the Moto2, he said his team engineers were bored, Guy Coulon is a great engineer.

that's stupid! the factory leased the bikes with a higher price and the bike can't win, and what should the engineers do?sitting and just staring at the bikes? God, I miss 500cc

re: "CRT's have done nothing for MotoGP other than to make the grid bigger"

and even that benefit only lasts for the camera shot at the start and for the first few minutes of the opening laps. i know, because i've timed it. after that they're never seen or heard from again. so for all intents and purposes, it's as if they are not even there and we are back down to 12 or 14 prototypes...? or whatever the number was that everybody was complaining about.

wait, it just occured to me that image of a CRT being labelled "1st" is the proverbial "straw" that broke casey's "back" begetting his retirement announcement...!!!

yeah, seeing that in parc ferme would push me over the edge too. could someone photoshop the word "LOSER" between the words 1st and CRT please. thank you.
