@ Jimmy

true...these ups and downs have plagued him constantly....one day he says we improved the feeling with the front...then next race he is 1.7 seconds off...

i feel this is the reason he will never be happy on the ducati....if they solve the problems, its only for that track and the next one they are back to normal....

whats bad is that with his long career, there arent any good bikes left....honda he separated badly and cant get....the yamaha has lorenzo and 3 ppl fighting for the 2nd bike already....his only way may be to buy his way through(main sponsr)....and the 4 bike/team rule doesnt help

Normal service by Casey. Great run by Ben for second. Just hoping no one gets hurt by the tires before Bridgestone admits they have issues. Lastly the Rossi bashing is getting old. The talent is there, the comfort is not!

I agree and I think this answers your previous question. You asked why was Rossi so hellbent on re-signing with Ducati. Well, I don't think he is that hellbent on re-signing with Ducati. He's just not stupid enough to burn that bridge as well so he is just saying how keen he is to re-sign with them thus giving himself that avenue if he can't find a good seat elsewhere. I may be doing him a dis-service but that's my take on things.

Thats the way i see it too Jimmy.But i will add that i want to see Val stay with Ducati and get some good results on it rather than walking away in defeat.

@Jimmy

well the way the ducati works is never going to suit rossi....1 and a half year gone and they still havent solved the front end problem......they cant solve the understeer....that along with power delivery may be solved by the new engine but we still have to see....going from past exp. ducati have a knack of getting their "upgrades" wrong.....

and whats worse is that except barbera and abraham...every1 else now has the pace....rossi said 7th was his potential but recently even bradl, bautista and nicky can best him.....real sad state eh !!

@hoppy
what relevance?
the relevance is that ducati is a crap bike. simple.
if jorge lorenzo and dani pedrosa would be riding that ducati and rossi rides with the m1 or the rcv, do you think rossi would be struggling and don't you think lorenzo and pedrosa wouldn't be?

I think a lot of people want to see that. I just can't see that happening. There isn't even a glimmer of a suggestion of a hint that this is anywhere in Ducati's short-to-medium future. The bike is that bad.

I tell you what I'd like to see... Remember at the Valencia test days at the end of last year's season, Suzuki had someone (de Puniet?) come and ride their bike for one day of the test? I'd like to see Stoner, as a free agent at the Valencia tests at the end of this year, spend a day on the Duke and a day on the Yamaha. I think we'd see something special. He's already shown us something special by dragging the duke to pole positions and victories and podiums in the past. But I'd really like to see what he could do on the current Duke and Yamaha before he leaves. Wishful thinking I know.

you're talking non-sense...this thread is all about qualifying and what happened after quali not bringing ross's past achievement. They hate rossi maybe because his arrogant attitude to his rivals especially with stoner and now he's paying the price. Accept the truth and move on. Id like to see rossi winning in ducati but it won't happen to be honest.
