But what I'd like to see most of all is for Stoner to change his mind about retiring and be on a factory Honda or Yamaha and see Rossi on a factory Honda or Yamaha. We'd have Lorenzo, Stoner and Rossi all with a massive point to prove. What a show that would be. May the best man win.

If Dorna are not in the middle of trying to make that happen, they've got rocks in their heads.

I'm so pissed off Stoner is retiring. I really feel like flying over there and smacking him around a bit lol

I'd like to see something similar Jimmy-in an ideal world Dorna remove the two bike per team rule and Repsol Honda have Stoner-Pedrosa-Marquez as their riders and Yamaha have Lorenzo and Rossi. That would be something special

if your honest you can't say: Stoner is better then Rossi.
well for 2 years he is now.
but what Rossi had achieved at stoner's age.
the guy realy is stunning....but he should never had leave Yamaha.
then we could see a 3 way battle till the end. jorge, stoner, rossi.

Rossi's achievements are realy high and i don't think any soon future rider can break hi's records.
Rossi realy has to swallow that duc and its getting more hard for him to swallow.
he knows still how to ride a bike. if you race for so many years its like walking for you.

Rossi will break with ducati even for a tech3 bike. maybe he can buy the upgrades him self...(i don't know if thats possible)
but on a Yamaha or a Honda he wil be a title contender.
only the real haters and people who like him to fail will dissagree. or the people who forgot how to walk.
I didn't wanted him to leave and im happy it didn't workout with ducati. but Rossi can ride!!!

Jimmy,i too would love to see Casey throw a leg over the Duke and give it the beans. It has always been a recalcitrant bastid to ride in every guise and form and had to be manually beaten into submission.Thats why i believe Casey would have it on the podium within 2 races. He always rode the bike the only way it can be ridden,HARD.He often crashed trying, but he also had much success and in my opinion the success he achieved on the Ducati justified the crashes.Folk can disagree all they like.Casey was the only guy to come anywhere near taming the red beast.

I don't need to point out how u contradicted yourself in your first two statements ???
Actually if you look at the FACTS since joining motogp with LCR in 2006 Stoner is the most successful rider. What better chance could you get to compare riders than having them race each other over 6 years? If you compare when they both rode for factory teams is even more in Stoners favor, let alone what the facts will say at the end of this year!
