There were a lot of people that fell victim of the conditions, traffic or used tyres. But I think more than Lorenzo were Hayden and Bradl that suffered the most. Stoner benefited from fresher tyres and a clean lap, if it wasn't for the moving chicanes(CRT's) it would have been closer than what it was. Regardless, it was a good last 15 min of the session, great job by everyone, I still think Lorenzo has an edge come race time if it is dry. What the heck is up with Rossi? That guy is running up of excuses in my book, now they can even tune a bike for the wet? Very sad indeed.... GO LORENZO!!!!

Well, the lap sheets are available on the motogp.com site. You can see Lorenzo put the double of laps on his tyres than Stoner (28, 15).

That said, if that's the reason, it's his own fault, his and his team's.

But judging from Lorenzo's smile in his box after qualifying, I'd say he isn't too disappointed or worried. And that's a good sign. So we'll see tomorrow how thing develop. Aparently, a dry or dry-ish race.
