"“I know traffic is a common excuse, but it was real today, and I certainly would have been up a couple more spots on the grid" - Nicky Hayden.

only Rossi is great enough for people to expect perfection. Yeah is great at setting up a bike, yeah he made a mistake. Federer is also great at wimbledon, but lost to Tsonga last year. So what? Get a life fairweather fan.

@ Goat

These people don't want to hear, nor do they employ, any objectivity when they "contribute". Most of these comments are designed to rile up those of us with healthy amounts of common sense. Eventually it becomes tiresome.

I've stopped watching motogp races because Rossi isn't up top fighting for the win. Before i'd wake up in the morning just to watch the races but now they're not as interesting. I hope he ditches Ducati next year. Not a Stoner fan but he's the only one who can ride the Duc. If Rossi didn't allow his pride to get the best of him and stayed at Yamaha he'd still be winning. For everyone who says J.Lo would have beat Rossi, don't forget the points were close before Rossi broke his leg.

@GOAT? .. Yeah, right

Can't you read? It clearly says ''Mistake''

You front like Rossi is immaculate or something similar to that, he's merely a sophisticated sperm drop just like you and me. Don't be silly please, every makes mistakes.

@Advocate... are you mental? I am saying the same thing. It is unfair to expect him to be perfect, but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve the reputation of being a supreme setup guy. he has proven it over the greatest career of all time. He made a mistake, but like some of the plonkers on here think, that doesn't mean he has lost the ability to set a bike up. I swear, on this site people are either exceptionally fickle, or completely incapable of reading or grasping a comment. You say one thing and people argue a totally different point! It's shocking how slow some peoples mind works
