I watched the race and the first thing I noticed was that Ben's bike was moving around more than any other bike out there the first half of the race. It's obvious he had no rear grip. Interestingly, his bike looked more stable than Dovi's at the end.

Shame really, I thought after seeing Stoner in the kitty Ben would do everything possible to get by Dovi, but then I heard/saw the rain and figured Dovi would cross the line first. Still, for having had such a bad setup Friday he did OK.

I was wondering when the rest of the field was going to start crashing (on their own).

A factory Yamaha bike should be up front or near the front for good TV coverage. If Spies continues to not impress then the marketing gurus will pull the plug on him.
It all depends on how important it is to have an American in the team.

Ben should be fighting agaist Lorenzo not the Tech3 bikes excuse after excuse how much more will it take before Yamaha put someone else on the bike that will show what the bike is capable of?

Dovi is a better rider than Spies this have been proved again today Ben is just not good enough he started 2nd and when backwards again.

They aren't going to sack Spies unless he absolutely cannot get the job done. He is just slowly starting to rebuild himself, and with the American market being quite lucrative for Yamaha they would be killing themselves.

Its also why i find it puzzling that Ducati would rather have Crutchlow over Hayden, especially since the American market is that good right now...unless he's headed to WSBK to pilot the Panigale to which i say ok!

@Swissjudge
He ended up with 4th place on a course that really suits Dovi's style,And ask Cal Crutchlow how hard Dovi is too pass.Not a bad finish,Room to improve without a doubt..But his bike setup is lacking,always seems like his crew is guessing come race day.
