Just have to think if he wasn't hit by all the bad luck just look where Ben would be. I am a huge Spies fan I still have belief he will turn his season around a talented rider does not go poor overnight.

re: "You talk about marketing advantages, which I think never should be a factor more important than results."

let's see if you still think that after you've spent 100 mil on a construction project.

re: "Then why don't every manufacturer want to sign old Valentino?"

because sales are down and rossi and co. can't be had for scale. their value now exceeds what motorcycling can support. plenty money on car side when they're ready.

Paul Joiner.
Please dont tar us all with the same brush.I am a fan of Bens but i am not a blind fan.The simple fact is,there have been 8 races this year so far,and Dovi has finished ahead of Ben in 7 of them on a satellite bike.That is not hating mate,it is fact.

IMO!

I'm a Spies/Yamaha fan and it's sickening that Ben continues to struggle with his M1. I have to believe that 'setup' is the key issue. All the other Yamaha riders doesn't seem to have the problems that Ben is having.

Ben and Houseworth looks to cool and calm in the garage not stressed, not worried, not pissed and most of all not hungry....other riders and crewchiefs looks like they are going to kill each other.

In the past Ben is known for riding around his bike's problems and still gets results, but this 1000cc seems to be a handful for him. He needs to slap his crew around a little and dial in that M1 to suit his riding style and get some podiums ASAP!

Bens pattern so far during a race: Fast in the first few laps, slows down and gets passed by a few riders in corner entry, speeds up (too late) a little at the end. In the past he would pass GOOD riders at the end, but not this season...SETUP, SETUP, SETUP!

LET'S GOOOOO BEN!

@Evel ken Evil:

Don't expect an answer from Sham as he cannot back up his prepositions claim, you are correct in saying his crew is the same as he had in tech 3 and WSBK

Sham is just full of....

i like spies and he seems to have lost his edge,and to those that say an american on a yamaha will boost sales in the usa,and it likely would,makes bens seat secure, well a certain mr rossi aint got his ride sorted next year yet,and it could well be a factory yamaha,and he will boost sales of yamahas globally not just in the usa. dont listen the back peddling mr jarvis,he aint got a say in it,and yam need another rider at the sharp end,and ben aint cutting it,
