"I'm not sure why but Andrea's bike seemed to accelerate better than mine and he had more speed on the straight" - Cal Crutchlow.

@ Crutchlow

Stop tossing jabs at Dovi because he had landed on the podium multiple times and you have yet to do so. Your statements sound like the ramblings of a bitter racer.

A wasted oppurtunity for sure and another terrible start by Crutchlow. What is the point of quailfying so well only to waste it off the line and to the first corner?

All that incredible pace that Crutchlow had in the corners and the way he caught upto Dovi and Spies and then it was as if he let himself get drawn down into Dovi's pace rather than keep his own.

At least it's only a week to wait before he can redeem himself and finally get that podium.

Cal's races are repeatedly being dogged by the same things: poor starts that see him give position away early in the race, and an indecisiveness in overtaking. The pace is clearly there now so he needs to work on those weaknesses to avoid putting himself in a position like today where he gets frustrated and impatient.

A disappointing day for English sportsmen I'm afraid. Andy Murray can't overcome Federer and Cal begins to show chinks in his armor. He had a great pace, too bad he doesn't have the passing thing down yet, it is costing him positions, and in this case, another podium.

As its only cals 2nd year in moto gp and on a satellite bike, i don't think 5th in the championship and just 7 points behind his team mate who is in his 5th year, 3 on a factory bike is all that bad.

Give the bloke a break
