It's not about money (respectively). It's about winning! That's what Rossi cares about. He doesn't "need" money (nor do any of the top names in GP)....he has plenty of that already. The fact that he gets paid EXTREMELY well is just icing on the cake.

Well all I can say as a Rossi fan is that his career is over!

I have had hop for tue last two years that this bike would get better but it seems to get worse. This is a terrible way for such a legend to finish his career, I'd rather see him go to Honda or Yamaha rather than try and win on that heap of $hite but it looks like Spies will re-sign for Yamaha & Pedrosa & Marquez will be at Repsol!

For all Rossi fans.. The biggest fan is the Fan that is with the rider when he is facing a lot of dificults.. Dont tell that you where fans of Rossi only because he was winning again and again..!! Rossi makes fans for is atitude was allways with him.. He is Strong he is incredible.. Rossi never was the Top top faster guy him qualifs and practices iven when he had the best bikes.. sometimes was so strsnge to wach the races it seams that he enjoy been behind and then he go for it and never loke back and Win.. Rossi never was rain Master like many guys say.. He is just one unbelivable Focus person that really understant the limits of Motogp bikes for make one race distance!! He is one rider for chanlages and he will turn this situacion and will be on top again iven if Not has fast has Stoner or Lorenzo, Rossi will be like a stone for the champion lets hope for Ducati evolutions to bring the level of the Duc compared with Honda and Yamaka

Hey Tiger. The bloke elected to hunt in the desert. Its not like Yamaha forced him to hunt in Scorpio territory.
Look. If the Ducati was such a piece of junk, he would have junked it and left by now. He still won't and why ? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Southerner can t bealiveat you point money has the fact of Rossi whant to stay at Ducati.. Is one factory Team Man.. have to make a movie for understand that in orther to be there and competitve you need the support of one factory.. Like i said before.. All riders Dream with that.. And its also because of that that hayden was him Ducati.. I cant bet with you guys if they had other options like Suzuki and kawasaki they would had try that options.. but after all spots on factorys beeing more less stable they Rossi and hayden have to play with what they have.. And Ducati also whants to WIN.. but they have to speack with riders.. LIKE REALIST SAY ROSSI IS NOT ONE GUY WORRIED ABOUT MONEY LIKE YOU AND ME.. ROSSI IS THE KING OF MOTOGP SPORT ONLY STAYS AT MOTOGP BECAUSE HE FEEL THAT HE IS STILL CAPABLE AND BECAUSE ALL RIDERS LOVE THE HAVE THE LATEST TEACNOLAGY ON THERE HANDS.. IF ONE TEAM LET ROSSI PLAY IVEN WHEN IT SEMANS IMPOSSIBLE LIKE WILL BE ON 46 YEARS He goes FOR FREE

BMW are coming through in WSBK by adopting things that work. They campaigned horizontaly opposed twins since Moses was a lad, with considerable success, but were willing to change. Ducati should move with the times too.

re: "@shamarone. i think you will find with your list of famous ducati SUPERBIKE winners, is that the winning part wasnt the 90degree engine, more the 20-30% bigger engines"

fair enough. i only ask how much of that 20-30% is offset then by the use of an engine that everyone claims is too long and is the antithesis of mass centralized...? how much of that 20-30% is offset by the repeated dependence on using a heavy and inconsistently welded steel trellis...? and finally how much of the 20-30% is eroded by being the only manufacturer on the grid still campaigning a single sided swingarm...?

or are we to believe that extra displacement is so POWERFUL and so ALL CONQUERING that it somehow ENHANCES (rather than excarcerbates) these design flaws that everybody else has long since abandoned...? look closely and you'll see that sword drawn from your scabbard has a "double-edge". also notice i didn't cite any of the usual arguments of it being only 2 cylinders. it can't be both ways.
