@ gorossi - says in MCN Valentino is signing for another 2 years with Ducati along with Cal Crutchlow!! I'm surprised, but Valentino is not a man to give up no matter what. Hopefully with Audio being involved things will liven up. Hope they get shot of Preziosi as it is him that is causing the problems if you ask me. Anyway, it's Vale and Cal with Scott Redding going to a satellite Ducati! Looking good for next year already!! Who needs Casey Stoner ?????

The ducati is a poison that only casey stoner had the antidote for. No one else will EVER have consistent success with that bike. At least not as long as lorenzo, stoner, pedrosa, spies, and dovisioso are all still in motogp and riding for honda or yamaha.

@blue hurricane, yes if you look at the seasons where they have raced together then they have had very similar results thats right. Rossi only just pipped Hayden in the standing last year and it could have gone either way right down to the last race. This year again has been very similar with only a few points in it and both riders beating each other 4 times out of 8 races. Pretty evenly matched id say.

In terms of results with Ducati, yes Hyaden has had better results so far than Rossi. Hayden got 163 points in a season, to Rossi's best so far of 139. Lets not forget that the season beofre Rossi arrived at Ducati, Hayden scored 11 top 6 finishes, 3,4,4,4,4,4,5,5,6,6,6, with a couple of top 7's. And this was doen with more full prototype bikes, and whilst we had 4 aliens, not just 3 like we have now.

So yes, Hayden has had better results at Ducati than Rossi has had so far.

Which is why it makes me laugh when people refer to Rossi as some sort of motorcycling genuious when he's bar

.......Which is why it makes me laugh when people refer to Rossi as some sort of motorcycling genuious when he's barely beating Hayden.

Yes he's good, but these 2 season at Ducati have certainly given people reality check, including his fans and Rossi himself.

@ there there now

That's not necessarily true. VR puts in as many (and sometimes MORE) laps than Hayden. They both test A LOT!

Any link to the MCN article?

As for the extra special comment, you guys find any reason to be negative. The energy of riding at "home" is what he's referring to. If any of you have ever tracked/raced AND had a home track, you can relate to his statement.
