Casey Stoner says he is 'not too impressed with our pace' as he can only manage the sixth fastest time in free practice at Mugello.

Casey was actually second fastest if you watch first timed lap out from pits. Makes me wonder if he just didn't give those tires enough time to settle in.

A used hard tyres probably good for the race. I've notice some riders losing the grip badly after a several laps. Lorenzo is one of the victim.

I think Stoner better choose a soft tyre for the race. When those hard tyres changing grip level during the race on other riders, he could take the advantage extends his lead or pace.
