just saying before anyone talks bull**** , Rossi always uses hard tyres in practice because he knows that are his choice in the Race day , hayden in the other way uses soft tyres in the last 10 minutes for a fast lap and for the good looks but in the race soft wont last 10 laps with the duke :)

Good on Rossi to try to get an idea what he'll have left on his tires toward the end of the race as he knows he can do a little better on a soft tire for qualifying. Lets hope he can improve his finish this race

Rossi is making great job.. Is just Worcking on is way!! he still have Fp3 to worck for qualify.. But you dont need to much worck on softs because these tyres allways have grip but its just to make 2 or 3 laps him a row for the best time.. then Rossi still have the warmup to Worck iven better.. Really hope everythingh goes nice.. Whanted so much one good result specally here at Mugello would great boost for Future with Ducati..

I just have to laugh at the title. guys get a kick out of this don't you? :) This also continues to outline the philosophical differences between Rossi and Hayden.

it's funny, every single first day of fp since his yamaha days rossi always uses the hard and sets a slow (relative) time to everyone else because he knows that's what he'll use in the race... only time he uses the soft is if he thinks he'll use it during the race.

ever since 2011, it's always been hayden doing a scorcher in FP using the soft, and yet every single time on people will STILL say "LOL OMG HAYDEN OWNING ROSSI" yeah... until race day...

Dear Crash:

We know you love Cal and hate anyone not named Cal, so thank you for pointing out the ovbious: That we know the Duc is slow on hard tires and the only way to match the Japanese bikes is with soft tires.

Thanks, Captain Obvious. Put the hate aside and show some love for someone other than British!

I'm disappointed that the recent Mugello tests mean nothing for Rossi. He, again has a crappy setting. The aluminum rear swingarm worked in the test, and they aren't using it now.

Just over a second down not bad me thinks,a small improvement but in race trim I can't see him being far off of the Tech3s,gonna go for 2 repsols hondas to beat him and 6th maybe 7th.
