Dani Pedrosa creates a small upset by taking pole position for the 2012 Italian Grand Prix, ahead of pre-session favourite Jorge Lorenzo and revelation Hector Barbera.

Great job by Dani and specially Barbera ... no tow this time, believe it or not!

Electronic or fuel problems for JLo at the end, anyway he seems to be very strong for tomorrow.

Stoner struggling a bit.

I think JLo would have got the pole if not for the problem on his final lap. Well done to Dani anyways, he has really found some form recently.

@Exactly why is Ducati not renewing Nicky's contract? Great performance by Pedrosa!

for me upset or should i say surprising was barbera on front row and he did that lap on his own.
dani on pole but himself said lorenzo is fastest
casey was having some issues saw serveral headshaking from him.
and well done hayden.
