Rossi is complaining of chatter, lack of grip, etc., while Nicky seems quite happy with the bike. Maybe it's time (again) for Ducati to 'suggest' that VR/JB use the latest Hayden/Martinez setup?

I have a Valentino Rossi shrine in my dining room 28 signed photos etc etc my wife thinks I may be a little bit weird for Valentino Rossi and I fully intend to call my first son Valentino so I think it's fair to say I'm a huge Valentino Rossi fan!! But what on earth are you doing vale???!!! This is embarrassing!!!! Constantly beaten by hayden !!!!! I've had enough of your excuses I'm sick on sitting expectantly in front of the tv on a sunday hoping praying for the old Valentino to emerge and light up my life!!! But no you've given up you don't really care and you are Definetly aren't the rider I've followed since 125's !!! I don't think you are worthy of our adulation do us all a favour and retire before everyone's disappointment turns to hatred I for one am sick of your excuses you are becoming pathetic!!!

There's a big difference between what Rossi said and what Stoner would say (to be trashed here at Crash) Rossi just stated the fact, he couldn't take advantage of the soft tire. PERIOD. Nothing more, nothing less. For Stoner to get trashed he would say something in the line of, "I couldn't do a faster lap BECAUSE of the soft tires"

It continues to amaze me how Rossi can't get anywhere near Nicky's pace on the soft tire at some tracks...yet is so dramatically better at retaining the performance of the tires over a race distance.

MotoGp has gotten awfully predictable of late, but I have to admit that I've enjoyed watching Rossi making up places during the races.

how can he not exploit the extra grip available on the softs !! hes mentioned struggling to find a setting to optomise grip .so id expect his pace on the softs to improve at least as much as nickys or hectors(over a second) using the settings hes been running on the harder compounds..the chatter must e the inhibiting factor here.. burgess has eluded many times how rossi is rarely affected by chatter to the degree others on the same machinery suffer, due to how he likes his bikes set up and the way he likes to ride... this to me is evident of this bike being so far removed from what vales comfortable with and also , sadly of an person whos losing sight of the rider he was in an effort to adapt himself to something he cant ride naturally on..making him look as lost as he is...
