Thev Tech 3 is so far down on top speed that Smith was falling back even when directly in the slipstream of the top bikes. He rode a brilliant race, only being passed on the straight and having to do all his passing on the corners. If people STILL can't see why Poncharal really rates him, there's no hope for them. Here's a final piece of advice for the detractors, try paying attention during the races so your judgment of a rider's talent isn't based on final positions alone. Marquez's bike is the fastest through the trap and for those who argue it's due to final corner exit speed, Elias was only a couple of kph down on Marquez but his lap times were much worse, which suggests that his corner exit speed wasn't great yet he still had the fifth fastest top end because the straight is so long that it shows who has the real speed advantage.

So you that disagree with the positive comments for Bradders still cant see that he can scrap with the best. The guys who were in front, had an 8 to 10 kph straight line advantage and this applied to those behind, please put some of your obvious extended knowledge on how he finished 4th. Very well done to him for taking an also ran bike from the back of the early grids to the front end in half a season. Look forward to the rest, go 4 it Bradley!!!!!

Rossi had a top speed advantage and got smashed. Marquez is better and Smith hasn't done anything to deserve a gp ride next year. He'd be worse than Abraham. Would rather see Rosell running around 2 laps behind the CRTs than Smith on a Tech 3

Great race all round. Bradley was clearly making time up around the corners and pulling away from the much heralded Marquez. The Tech3 team and Bradley should be congratulated. I am sure there is more to come from that bike, particularly when they make up the speed shortfall.

Redding not far off either.. The little 600 is still giving him issues. I know they have been working on the geometry of the bike so hopefully it is helping him get more comfortable.
