Ever watched the spanish Moto2 races? That's where all these fast spanish riders cut their teeth. Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Stoner, etc. all came through there. It is actually a gateway to Moto2 WC.

Jordi Torres is fast and if the package and mechanics are right I'd say he'd be running top 10 by next year. It was just a question of time that someone was gonna offer him the opportunity.

Why would they waste their time with Toni ELIAS? I'm so sick of that guy, he cant adapt to anything it seems. I wish he would just retire. What a frustrating rider ELIAS is.

Why is this even newsworthy? As if we don't already hear enough about a particular country (Let's call MotoGP the "SpanishGP"), Elias hasn't done anything newsworthy as a GP rider and winning a Moto2 title doesn't mean you're the best rider. You just beat a bunch of scrubs....sheesh.

Some rumours have Elias joining Gresini to replace Rea or Wilairot, Italtrans to replace Nakagami or Forward to replace Takahashi. Tbh if Nakagami gets replaced by Elias that would be an absolute joke, the guy had just led a Moto2 race and is only 20 compared to Toni being 29. I could see Gino Rea being the likely one to get the chop here, would be a shame but he hasn't relly performed and has beaten by his team mate when he can keep it up right.

Elias back in motoGP for the 2 USA rounds on the Pramac Ducati
so thats a waste of a bike then.
he has had more than his fair share of chances in motoGP and gets nowhere as he cant ride on the bridgestones.. they should give the ride to some young gun

Why always him? The problem is not that he is Spanish - every Spanish rider deserves a seat if he has the talent and speed. But Torres tried so many times, even with Aspar last year - and results not came. He couldn't even take a point. I understand that they swapped Elias, but they should have swapped him with a more decent rider.
