check your tyres,check brake lever clamp,check you have taken your pooly sick tummy pill,check with mommy it's ok to come out and play then check your mirrors all race cause crutchlow,dovi,rossi,hayden,bradle will all be passing you.

Apart from the unavoidable problems he's had this year Ben's biggest problems seem to be concentration and commitment. I don't see this as being a circuit ideal for dealing with those issues.

I think he is riding below his best, but with the best will in the world I don't think that if he does deal with his issues that he is good enough to deserve a factory ride. Especially with factory rides being so rare.

What puzzles me is that I've not heard rumours of him talking to anybody other than Yamaha. Either he's supremely confident that he will get the Yamaha ride or he's got something hidden up his sleeve. If he doesn't get the Yamaha ride it's looking increasingly like there won't be any good seats left.

I think right now there's more anticipation over Spies' prospects for next year rather than his potential for the race. If Yamaha are going to announce a new deal for him, you'd expect it to be here.
