This is spies' time to shine. Deal or no deal for him next year, he at least needs to show everyone he has still got it. If everything goes his way this race, (I know it's a big if), there is no reason he shouldn't be on the podium.

Love the haters. Ben deserves to be here as much as the rest of the bottom rung do. Don't know what happened to his mind but he needs to figure it out quick.

Spies himself has now confirmed via Twitter he's out of the Yamaha squad for 2013. Story also on superbikeplanet. Talks about leaving Yamaha and 'a new chapter' for next year.

Pretty big news.

Man if he does in fact leave MotoGP the racing just got a whole lot less interesting for 2013! Casey and Ben both out would just be weird! Maybe they will form there own WSBK team? It could happen!

It's bad when u wake up and for 5 min u have to look at ur room key to know where u are then which direction the pisser is!

Spies tweet. Sounds like he wants out of the grind.
It seems to depend on Rossi. If he decides to go to Yamaha, Spies gets the boot. Otherwise Yamaha America cash keeps him where he is.
