@nocash.
the tires are what is causing the cash splash mate.
these day with a spec tire bikes have to be worked around the tires , unlike a few years ago it was the other way around.
honda are only doing what they have to or they may as well go home.
yamaha got new engines couple months ago , ducati get new engines at laguna , other than pedro stoner only got a new engine.
so i see honda doing nothing that other factories ain't doing.

Point 1) The 'cost saving' engine limit has saved / prevented the spending of money only for smaller teams that don't have it anyway - the amount Honda have spent in 2 months on these bikes must be several seasons budget for CRT teams?
Point 2 ) Ducati get your fingers out of your Sloppy Guiseppe and build a motorbike!!!!!
Point 3 ) Could the future of GP be as per recent F1 ( and Hondas future plan ) whereby manufacturers can run a works team , satellite team AND provide EQUAL SPEC engines to chassis manufacturers? Honda introducing a 'simpler' GP engine for purchase only serves to make a 3-tier championship.
Point 4) I don't care what the rules are, as long as I CAN'T buy a GP bike then the appeal remains. I could if I had the money build a CRT and that's why they don't appeal to me. There's a lot of 'Customer' teams in F1, but you'd still struggle to buy even the worst car on the grid.

Suggested rule change:
Ban traction control ( as with F1!) - if you're riding a bike over 150 b

@JapLance and Cammyspop.
if you actually read the thread you will find that pedro chose the whole new bike and stoner picked only the engine.
this was known right after the test at mugello!!

(cont') 150 bhp then you shouldn't need TC. F1 boys run 800 bhp with no TC and Mr Renault clio with 200bhp has it!!!! Plus I want to see these boys showing what THEY can do not what the Electronics ( that I don't want or care about) can do.

Force all manufacturers to make an extra x 4 engine packages available for purchase by chassis manufacturers ( Equal or close to factory spec ).

A few years ago F1 was looking ot GP for ideas, now it should be the other way around.

Please don't @me, I don't care what anyone else thinks haha!!!! :-)
