Great News! Hope Nicky can win races next year or win a a race! For sure if Rossi wonted to stay at Ducati that would have announced that along with this?

I think Rossi's results on the Ducati have cause a lot of people to positively reassess their opinions of Nicky's ability. Everyone (me included, and I'm a longtime Nicky fan) thought Rossi would come to Ducati and dominate his teammate. When that didn't happen, fans & Ducati management alike had to start thinking "Hey, if this guy can get approximately equivalent results to the 9 times world champion on the same bike, maybe he's better than we thought..." I'm happy to see the result of this is a contract extension for such a hardworking and likeable (and yes, fast) guy. Now reward us all with some more podium finishes, Nicky!

Bravo Ducati. You made the right decision. The guy has been a workhorse for you for a few years now. Nice to seem them reward his dedication and effort.

Now build him (and Crutchlow I think) a REAL competitive bike.
