yeah, we are in the present, but you can't take away what happened in the past, right? one thing i don't like most are those people who refuse to acknowledge history. like stoner, he won the 2007 title. you can't take it away from him. it's simple. i want people to respect champions. more so if he has won NINE titles.

Oh,so now you want to respect champions!
So how come you dish out so much hatred toward Stoner?
And dont try denying it because i can easily provide examples of your previous hate filled posts.
Go and get a dictionary and look up the word hipocrite.

Rossi has my respect and will have more than 9 titles give him if he could get results on the Ducati. he certainly was paid well to do it, has been regarded as a development god, and after almost 2 years and too many iterations of JB to count is just as far from the front.

A man earns far more respect from how he performs under adversity than he does when the sun is shining upon him.

So far Rossi isn't doing so well under adverse conditions.
"its Jorge or me" to Yamaha
First, "Stoner isn't riging hard enough" follwed by "I won't ride the bike like Stoner"
Backing away from his job, "I'm jsut a rider, the engineers develop the bike"
Acting unprofessionally by publicly stating, "Ducati doesn't listen"

I personally haven't lost any respect for what he's done but don't hvae much for what he is doing. When the Rossi nostalgia threads pop up I'll be happy to contribute there but all of hteCrash discussions are about the 2012 season.

@ Why can't he ride the ducati

it's you who need to look in the dictionary if there is indeed a word HIPOCRITE. looks like you should have failed in spelling class.

Why demand respect for Rossi? what does that accomplish.

tomorrow we have a race where 3 guys with a shot at the title will be pushing hard to win. After Stoner's pass last year I can't wait to see what happens at the front. You have Ben who will want to make a point, the Tech 3 battle and Bradl with his first trip to the dry lake. Everyone will want to head into summer break on a high note.

Try to sit back and enjoy the race, there won't be another for a while after and even then its Indy which hasn't brought much excitement in my opinion.
