Pole position isn't that important: this isn't F1! :D Casey shouldn't be so disappointed: if he's got the potential he says, he can show it during the race and fight for victory. It's fair to say that his ideal laptime is a bit better than Lorenzo's (by half a tenth, more or less), but it's also true that his best sectors are divided in two different laps and I doubt CRTs got in his way twice in every lap, in all four sectors of the track.

And yet again Casey is moaning about traffic on his last lap.

Stoner is fast and very talented, would it kill him to give some credit to his rival Lorenzo for doing a great lap on that Yamaha? Even Rainey was overwhelmed and clapping with sheer joy....it was a special lap.

Anyway,I expect Casey to win. Jorge is using his alien talent to push that Yamaha where it does not belong, it will be difficult to sustain that pace over a race distance.

HRC have a problem brewing for next year since Pedrosa is not fast enough to be a true Casey replacement, so they can only hope rookie Marques does a better job.

Rossi still blaming chassis, engine, tires, weather, alignment of planets and so on. Put Casey on that bike and he would pole it.

Same story every weekend. Spies qualifies well people say he'll be on the the podium, Rossi qualifies nowhere and people write him off and the race comes round and its the same old story.

Obviously rossi will have more pace come the race but the real question is can he stick with the tech 3s, if so 4th is possible.

I reckon he'll be 6th

Please tell me the rumour RDP may be Tec3 next year is true.

If this guy gets on that bike you really will see what the cough "privateer" team is capable of.

It's such a shame he has never had that top ride , never stops pushing, never stops fighting whatever he ends up riding, real class act.

As far as Dovi goes personally why give him a factory ride again? the bloke has talent but talent to run to 4th place time in time out, year in year out, there's no future potential there. He can ride to his maximum every day but his max is around forth. CC is at least on the up,as team manager I would prefer take sm1 on the way to reaching thier potential instead of sm1 who was already there, back at HRC!

As for Lorenzo, it was awesome to see how he started the lap 2 tenths behind, everything seemed lost, and then he started to improve every sector, and they were intercutting with his garage with everyone watching, Wayne Rainey's expression was priceless. And after that final sector, more than hapiness, you could see pride among all the members of his team, Jarvis and Rainey. I'm so glad Lorenzo stayed at Yamaha: he belongs there.

"good one WWF but its WWE now wwf is world wildlife fund lol "

To be honest, I'm not that ashamed NOT to be very clued up on it. Sadly I think I might feel the same about MGP next year if Dorna continue on their present path.

I've wondered why Rossi does so poorly in qualifying but does better in the races, and it seems to me that he cant get anything out of the soft tyre at all. Until he can he will be last of the non crts every time

Rossi has developed the bike backwards?

I don't know who to believe, armchair Rossi critics or Nicky Hayden who says that its the best Ducati he's ever ridden and hopes Rossi is his teammate next year.
