MotoGP » Stoner: There was always a CRT in the way

“Every lap was spoiled which is very frustrating as I really feel we could have been on pole but we'll have to settle for where we are” – Casey Stoner.

After watching Stoner be over 2 tenths after 2 sectors then he was 5 tenths down after encountering traffic, I can fully understand the frustration, he had more to give than Lorenzo ad i say that after Lorenzo said he was at the Maximum.

What's the all time AMA supers record at this track?
If it's even close to the CRT's, something is wrong and they're already talking of ditching CRT's by 2014.
Aussie supers were only about 2 seconds slower in race trim around Phil Island than the 800's and they're relatively lightly modded production bikes.
Qualifying is often as exciting as the racing, it's a real shame CRT's are ruining that!
Don't forget, he's giving the CRT concept the raspberry, not the riders. He's earned his stripes to have his opinion heard and I for one agree.

why cant Cassy be more like his team mate, instead of complaing that its always someone that got in HIS way, note to CS, its not your track Cassy, everyone out there has a right to ride thier ride - its yor job to pass them, not their job to get out your so called way!

@Stevegp

Brilliant idea....this 3 tier series IS becoming a joke where the aspect of a lottery is becoming more of an intrusion into a race weekend than ever before....

"that's racing..." who was the peanut who said that?

It's racing as lomg as racing is having two different types of machinery on the same track - which doesn't even happen at the locat club if it can be avoided!!!

"They should run qualifying like wsbk super pole then the last 5 or so bikes get a 15 min clear run with out the mobile chicanes". - The most sensible omment on here. I'm sure this won't be selected as the 'recommended comment'though . Its hardly going to encourage the panomime.

I'm a big fan of racing and Rosi among others. Some of his fans are an easy target for ridicule for anyone with half a brain though.

I wonder what wil happen to this website when Rossi moves on one day.
