MotoGP » Stoner: There was always a CRT in the way

“Every lap was spoiled which is very frustrating as I really feel we could have been on pole but we'll have to settle for where we are” – Casey Stoner.

"To the idiots calling casey a whinger. I'm pretty sure any rider would have been pissed at the CRT's if their runs we're blocked like that."

It seemed that it only happened to CS though because hes the only one moaning about it.

Maybe its yet another conspiracy to prevent him from winning the championship?

It nearly worked as he only posted the second fasted time ever at the track with 1min left to go and it took an amazing effort to top, so yeh....dam CRTs

What is it with all the Rossi fans going on about 2008 and how great Rossis pass was?

Look at F1 last week and Vettels 20 second penalty for passing while off the track.

That is he the rules should be applied .....fairly.....unlike GP where Rossi gets everything his way.

This is why his team mate Pedrosa and lorenzo put a fast lap in early on so he had something to fall back on Stoner as usual leaves it till the last few seconds and then blames other riders.

quite true 749er.. i remember watching the stoner/rossi battle at laguna that year and thinking "bummer this is the fight is over rossi will get a penalty for sure", but it wasnt forthcoming. why? i imagine the yellow brigade in full revolt? imagine if rossi didnt win the championship for 3 years? the publicity of motogp would go into decline like now, this is how we get ridiculous situtation like ezpeleta promising that rossi will win, its a final neccessity.. sad economic rationale dictates but thats the way it is... never gets mentioned though. rossi is a great rider-- ok he is not as great as we thought-- but he doesnt need help from dorna and ezpeleta.

I think Crash will miss Casey next year.
No matter what ,he is contraversial and gets people talking wether they like or hate him.
The sport will be more dull without him.
We need riders speaking there mind, and getting situations and issues in the sport talked about.
