@Me...RIDER 1, whom I like as a rider but not personally, is NOT leaving MotoGP with his reputation in tact. The FACT is he is a whining, unapologetic and unresponsible soon to be ex-world champion. RIDER 2 has overstayed his welcome....with a losing brand. You or no one else can take away his talent.

@CRTS will pass you soon...WTH are talking about question marks over his championship? Obviously you are looking for attention with that comment. VR endured what JL endured last year...more Honda's on the grid to try and take points away due to no single rider could beat him on an equal bike BECAUSE he as the rider made the difference.

It will be what it will be......
Handbag nation your so funny. Lots of true words spoken here but also a lot of dribble from handbagers.
Its time for a change we all know that. the cards are not in our hands nor the people you think. Everything will become clear soon. You just have to wait.

I love these boards so I'll throw this in. Does Rossi really have anything to prove? If he retired today we would assess his career by consulting the history books, as will others when we are all gone, and the facts speak for themselves...he was very good and has set targets that will stand for a long time. Years from now there will be no talk of special tyres, walls, fixing bikes in 10 minutes, being 'owned', and the Ducati phase will be seen as an unfortunate bump in an otherwise outstanding career and, considering Rossi's success up until then, will be blamed on Ducati so his memory will stay gleaming.

It can't be easy for Rossi right now but I'm sure a call to his accountant every so often eases his anguish and, at the end of the day...he's the one laughing all the way to the bank.
