re: "Time for Rossi to spoil the Lorenzo, Pedrosa party."

wait, did anybody consider what would happen if lorenzo gets PIZZ'DOFF and he decides to retire...? or worse, jumps ship moving "lorenzo land" like so much continental drift over to WSBK...?

sure kid's puttin' on a happy face NOW, but in short order it's going to be tough for Jlo to hide that he feels slighted. good or bad, rossi casts the BIGGEST of shadows no matter what designation his seat is given.

"If I were Vale, I would go to Tech3 and let Dovi go to Yamaha factory .."
I never thought about it, that sounds interesting and intriguing actually.
I know it wouldn't because Dorna would be upset their money cow won't be on the best(arguably) bike of 2012.

re: "If Ducati drop Preziosi (failed as chief engineer/designer)"

'cept he didn't fail, his design ultimately begat the 1199 panigale. furasawa crossplane level...? i dunno...? maybe it is when you consider he did it from the confines of a WHEELCHAIR, while masao had the luxury of being able to take the missus out dancing at karaoke bars. there's a flip side to the bashing.

"And on top of it all, I wouldn't mind seeing a Marlboro Yamaha on the track again. Ducati has Audi now and their racing program can survive.

I don't know about that...The Ducati-Rossi divorce is good/bad for both. Ducati's Desmo will be known as the career destroyer forever and Rossi will be known as the guy who couldn't ride it like Stoner.
So now I'll get bashed by everybody :)

I believe Rossi should stay at Ducati and with the help($) of Audi develop the Ducati, that will be history written...if he leaves Ducati that would be one more nail in the coffin of Ducati's GP project, it's a blow they can't afford to have, Ducati should do everything in their power to retain Rossi and make him a winner or else they are on a spiral downfall.

So if ROSSI fails, But the truth is no other rider could do it, ALL have failed the Ducati.

And why they all Failed it says ONLY one thing

"ITS DUCATI THAT FAILS NOT THE RIDER"
"ITS PREZIOSI WHO FAILS"

Rossi stoner nicky hoffman barros capirossi mika gibernau etc etc did not FAIL!
ALL these riders know how to ride a bike, develop a bike.
BUT IF PREZIOSI,DUCATI DOES NOT LISTEN.

it will be very very hard for the riders to keep riding the way YOU SHOULD NOT RIDE!!

I think going back to Yamaha for Rossi only says 1 thing, the guy is not ready to give up and he wants to show hi's fans(and for him self) he can still ride the S#!t ouit of a bike(any bike).

its all lost at DUCATI for years and year.

Its for the best of BOTH(rossi and the Fans) if he return to a Factory were he can win again.

AND MOST IMPORTANT ENJOY HIM SELF.

look at stoner he doesn't enjoy it and quits.

Rossi want to have joy again, and Rossi knows what to do.!!

Let ducati play the game its own way. let them

So Rossi on a Yam - Lorenzo on form - Marqez coming through - in various orders through the season its your top three with the occasional disruption by the Li'l Rumpelstiltskin on his Honda. Sounds better than what we have now and the racing should get up close and personal, just how we like it people.
Maybe a Yam with a Doctor is the cure for up front boredom that sets in too often.
