“The mistake at Sachsenring really cost us, but at the same time it basically just gave back the points we gained from Jorge in his unfortunate accident at Assen,”

Sorry but am I the only one that would love to have read the above comment like this,

"The mistake at Sachs really cost me, but at the same time it basically just gave back the points I gained from Jorge in his unfortunate accident at Assen"

@Motojunky: When a rider wins a World Championship, it's not only him who wins it. The Manufacturer must have given him a decent bike, and his team needs to have set it up to win races. It is not an individual effort. So what he is saying, is that his mistake, didn't just cost him. It cost the team around him too.

Super simple stuff.

"He's not a :" I won the championship" kinda guy."

He just said in that big interview that's on every website: "“I am World Champion and I don't give up easily”"

Certainly didn't bother with "we" then did he?

Do we really have to scrutinise every little nuance of every word uttered by our 'heroes' They're racers - not PR/public speaking experts. Do you REALLY want to listen/read or watch the best in the world slug it out? The old saying 'you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone' will apply when CS goes to V8's -you'll see.Love him or hate him he's awsome to watch. But you could just read transcripts of what he says - if that's what you enjoy...
