De Puniet having a much better season on the CRT machine than he did on a satellite Ducati - a sobering thought for the likes of Redding and Iannone who are hoping for a ride on the customer Duc.

Obviously Cal is the biggest improver and full credit to him. He has proven many many people wrong.

Spies is at the other end of the scale for the most underperforming rider, with Rossi close behind him.

A shout out to Bradl too for taking to the MotoGP class really well.

Credit to the top 3 of course for staying up there. Lets not forget that these 3 are in a league of their own so full marks to Lorenzo, Stoner and Pedrosa for maintaining it year after year.

Man people talk some rubbish on here

I personally happen to agree that Rossi is past his best and will never be the dominant force he once was. I don't see it as a terrible decline, more a natural development of time. All sportsman improve, peak and decline, and Rossi is just following that natural progression. It'll happen to Lorenzo too in time, and would happen to Stoner but for his decision to quit at such a young age. Time waits for no man etc.

But to call a 9x world champion a "fraud" just makes you sound stupid. No matter whether you are a Rossi fan or not, no one can deny this man his place as a genuine legend of the sport. He is anything but a fraud.

No what have you ever won?

@Don-R : Dovi is not currently favourite to replace Rossi at Ducati, Crutchlow is. They actually negotiated a contract and Cal was expecting it to appear at Mugello, but they've been waiting for Rossi to make his decision.
