@@@ latest Italian news from Italy about ROSSI released just now.

Yamaha (not Rossi) has , like in the case of Lorenzo, decided to realise the information that Rossi, will join them, and Rossi will leave Ducati without any breakages so he will be allowed to ride The Yamaha M1 on November 13 and 14 before the 2013 season, just after the last race of the season.
Everything is happening as Carmelo Ezpeleta Boss of Dorma predicted.

Dovizioso first then Iannone are on the list to join Hayden at Ducati.

Signing Vinales over him is waaayy much better future investment imo:
- Young
- Fast on track
- Fast learner
- Cheaper
- SPANISH!!

"yellow" won't boost up yamaha sales number like de ja vu, all they need is to win titles and sell cool bikes thats all. And not just until 2015

Hi
Good for the sport to have another competitor to fight for podiums:) Title?? if he is lucky, who will then be on Tech3 if Dovi leaves and Cal to Ducati Smith and some other person, wont see Tech3 Yam up there 2013:( Ben to BMW WSBK and then BMW to MotoGP 2014 with Melandri and Spies:)
Cheers Claes

Hi
Enrico47 "Everything is happening as Carmelo Ezpeleta Boss of Dorma predicted" It is not prediction when you are deciding what to happen, Dorna are paying Ducati to let Rossi go, and they will probably propp Duacati up if Marlboro goes with Rossi:) Dorna can see the interest of the sport will increase if More people and Rossi fight at the top (now when Stoner is gone it will be more even behind JL) because CRT's have done ****** all to the interest of the sport except bringing more starter money for Dorna.
So Dorna will make more money, so investing in the release of Rossi would be peanuts in comparison to what they will make if he fights for the title, if Rossi have lost it and don't perform as well as predicted Dorna will look like tools:)
Cheers Claes

@ Claes

"who will then be on Tech3 if Dovi leaves and Cal to Ducati"

It's now being widely reported that Dovi will go to Ducati and that Cal may end up staying with Tech 3. But if not, then a Smith/De Puniet line up is a strong possibility.

Rossi never got close to stoners performances on a ducati for, in my opinion, 2 reasons
Stoner is exceptional and has a unique way of throttling a motor bike. You can also not teach an old dog new tricks. Rossi just can't adapt his smoother style to ride a wild animal. Its easier to do it the other way round.

However, I still believe the old dog hasn't forgotten his old tricks and he'll be in contention next year. The fact he has to prove a lot to certain people now makes him even more dangerous I think.

@ pastitbiker
If Rossi was past his best by the time he left Yamaha that doesn't say much for the others, considering he was 3rd at the end of the season ( only 8 points behind 2nd place) and that was after missing several rounds due to a broken leg.
I know your name says pastit but is the memory starting to go?

Dovi deserves that factory ducati more than crutchlow. Maybe another year in tech3 will see him get a podium or 2. Rossi just needs to be out of ducati to make the sport watchable again. Barbera and abraham need to get out of motogp so this "junior" team can happen for ducati. Finally, Spies needs to stay in motogp somehow and then rejoin with suzuki in 2014
