re: "Rossi going back to Yam just shows how much his star has diminished."

i think you mean how much MOTOGP's star has diminished. as we've seen by ducati's sales increase, the media the past 2 years (this very thread even), rossi's still every bit the "meteor".

re: "Ducati should just pack it up in MotoGP and go back to full WSBK support."

YES...!!! (fistpump)

I hope he moves to Yamaha, because I want to see the good old Rossi kicking ass!!! If he stays with Ducati, then I think Valentino is only concerned about money. That would really hurt me and leave me with no illusion..

re: "dorna should consider having 6 honda's, 6 yamaha's, and possibly 6 ducati's and 4 suzuki's"

well everything but the 4 suzuki's. dorna should BAN suzuki (for a period of time) for their insolence. ya know... like so much 2-stroke.

if they're coming back to "coast"...? don't do us any favors. the CRT's are all over it (ie. coasting). got it on lock. :D

@Ringo
Dorna would love that but the only problem is not many teams can afford prototypes that's why the CRTs are on the grid.
This will be the first time in Rossis racing career that he will have to admit defeat, now he has to come crawling back to Yamaha..although they will be happy to get his sponsers money!
The ducati crusade is no doubt a black mark on his entire career and there is no disputing it..Its FacT

You can become grandfather very young. A friend of mine became grandmother at 38... And Rossi is another example. Time to quit wanting to be the alpha male...

I am glad that the Ducati/Rossi nightmware will soon be over, and I can't wait to see him and Jorge go pound-for-pound next season. Those two riders - along with Pedrosa and Marquez - will make for an exciting 4-man/bike battle with the T3 boys and LCR's Bradl nipping at their heels (..and then there will be the Hayden and the other Ducati riders fighting for those coveted 7-10th positions). Bring it on!

You may almost get your wish, your Majesty - looks like being up to 6 British riders in MotoGP next year - almost a third of the field. Probably none on factory machinery though.
