@shamarone

MotoGP fans, or Rossi fans? If the Rossi fans leave, that will leave the true motorcycle racing fans - I'm all for it!

And Furusawa is the TRUE genius behind the Yamaha, not Rossi. Furusawa was building the 2004 Yamaha while Rossi was on a Honda, after all.

re: "Amigo Preziosi knows that the failure at Ducati will cost him his job regardless."

no, his success at begetting the 1199 will preserve his job regardless. seems many are focusing on tiny snippets while continuing to ignore the bigger picture. FAIL.

Aces High, NO. The guy on the left has. The guy on the right was just there to take the glory.

We have all seen what the guy on the right does with a winning bike.

Another Rossi hater. Move on...

re: "how can some people still can say that Rossi was not one importante parte him yamaha evolution??? How can some people just be so stupid and hate Rossi like that."

as the cool kids say... "haters gon' hate". but forgive them it's a personality defect. trust, it manifests itself in other aspects of their lives... not just motorbikes.

Do you REALLY know what that means for a sport that has been on shaky ground for a few years? Did you see the crowd at Mugello and many tracks this year? Even Qatar was down from 36 to 22 visitor's in 2012.

I don't give a toss what you think about Rossi, but if he went to WSB, what effect do you think it will have on MotoGP and WSB? I'm sure any "real racing fan" (to qualify, you just have to hate Valentino Rossi) it would be bliss, but when it all goes pear-shaped, who will you blame? 1 guess.

Rossi going to Yamaha is MotoGP's 1 chance to get the viewers/visitor's back. After this year's attendance (TV/Track), Dorna really are desperate to get Rossi back front. Go #46 and LOL @ the bitter ones....

Huge respect to Furusawa-san for sticking to his ethics and not simply taking the money Ducati would have thrown at him to fix the bike.

So much trouble to try to put a has been back in the best bike... Dorna, why don't you just make everybody except Rossi race with rain tires? Then he could get back the advantage he had back in those days when he "developed" the M1...

Kudos to Furusawa and Preziosi for being both very professional.
