There is no furusawa input at Ducati and there will be no Rossi on board at Ducati either. Ducati will not be as competitive as the other bikes any time soon (unfortuantely).

The Ducati looked to be a pretty good bike at the end of 990's. Capirossi was certainly getting better results as well (compared to 07). What would it be like, if Ducati grabbed the chassis and developed that now, to suit the current 1000, suspension, tires etc, ideally having one ready for the first test at the end of the season (Valencia?)

@shamarone MotoGP fans, or Rossi fans? If the Rossi fans leave, that will leave the true motorcycle racing fans - I'm all for it! And Furusawa is the TRUE genius behind the Yamaha, not Rossi. Furusawa was building the 2004 Yamaha while Rossi was on a Honda, after all.

So anyone who is a fan of Vale is not a motorcycle fan? Wow! A truly narrow viewpoint if there ever was one!

Then Valentino Rossi came to Yamaha and rode for the first time at Sepang in January 2004. He is really a genius. He rode the crossplane bike for just five or six laps and then came back and said this bike is the best one. Even though it was slow, because the power was not so much.

im an MC fan (i had 10 in the last 10yrs), i'm also a #46 fan, and lastly i own a yamaha superbike.

but i am not excited about the idea of him going back to yammy, i prefer audi giving unlimited budget, and rossi/jeremy winning on the ducati.

can you give it one more year pls.

I think I remember one of you posts where you said you were a CA Cop, and I am sure you do a very good job but if you cannot understand the point I was making then you are not as smart as I thought you were,I know you are one of the guys that keep banging on about how riders develop bikes and if you really belive that then stick to being a Cop and leave the development to the people that do it ENGINEERS.

You are very dumb arent you. So you just build without consultation from anyone? Fighter Jets - Does Lockheed Martin make jets without asking the Department of Defence what they actually need in battle? Do they just chuck in anything they want on a plane? No! They ask before they build. Plane manufacturers ask what airliners need before they build. Hence, some planes are a bit different in interior and exterior because each Airlines have different requirements. You are a hater. Hater will always hate and that is you.
