Unfortunately for Ben, I don't see the stars aligning for him. His team will not be giving 100%, and I think after 5 laps, neither will Ben.

Too many things to go wrong that will surely happen, in some fashion. This year is doomed for him, I'd be surprised if he podiumed this year. And I'm a Ben fan.

Roll on next year, whatever that may be.

Good luck to Ben. So much better than his results suggest and a nice guy too. Still think he will get to the top again whether it be in WSBK or Moto GP

Ben won his WSB title without breaking into a sweat.
To do that you need lots of luck.
Luck evens itself out over the years.
Now he's paying for that perfect title winning year.
One disaster after another this season.

It all looks very fishy around that ride. With Rossi suggesting at Italy that he would stick with Ducati, & Ezpeleta saying before that that Rossi "would" be on a competitive bike next year.
So Rossi suddenly changed his mind. Did he only just realize that Ducati have done FA for him since the start of the season?
And Ezpeleta found a crystal ball in his Easter egg no doubt.

Spies has had his problems of coarse, & then some...
It'll be interesting to see how he goes for the rest of the season.

To the conspiracy theorists: let's assume that Yamaha have been sabotaging Spies to get Rossi back, now what? Yamaha now have what they want, so they might as well cash in on the success Spies could potentially bring to them before Valentino returns, yes? That means no more petty excuses, yes?

Rossi would be coming to Yamaha now regardless. It is not like a space opened for Rossi and he is filling it by coincidence. That move has been in the works before the season even began. Im sure the writing was on the wall for Spies. That is not to make excuses for a horrendous season, but I've been saying for a while now that back office intrigue has been going on all along, and Spies saw Rossi coming no matter what he did or did not do.
