Dani could do it.... considering its best (and healthiest) year yet in motogp, but its goning to be tuff beating JL for the title this year, 8 races left an both riders are looking strong.

@ boof

Third may be worse than 1st or 2nd, but it is BETTER than the rest, and most (excluding Rossi) - if not all - of the riders behind him will likely never even reach 3rd place during their entire career.

Dani is a great rider. Dani just does'nt seem to have the last bit to get the job done?

Seems he's always in the safe mode! takes what points are safe without risks!

gotta love " bin or win " from a fan's point!

He's a good rider on the best of machinery but I would doubt his ability on a mediocre bike cos he has already proved in past years his development skills are lacking and the only reason for his 7 years is his bloody passport which is so so wrong cos he definitely ain't the best available

I think dani is a excellent rider on thebest of machinery. As for development ability I think you will find that Honda rate him very highly! ( I remember reading a interview with one of the honcho's on the Honda team where he mentions this fact)

@What? - although Dani has poor development skills, last years Honda was a very strong bike. Even Stoner agreed that his task was made easier by the work Dani did. Some years ago, the Honda was a pig to ride (just ask Checa) and he was still doing okay and the bike they ended up at the end of the year was actually quite okay.
He's on the HRC team because he is fast. He can win races, he gets podiums. Who else should be there?
