MotoGP » Stoner: Rossi has 'done nothing but complain'

"I just feel completely sorry for Ducati that Valentino has gone there and done nothing but complain about the bike for almost two years" - Casey Stoner.

It was Rossi who was sure of Stoner's supposed lack of talent when he was struggling "he just needs to ride it harder". This was backed up by the fact that he moved to Ducati to prove Stoner wrong. If he has any decency he should retract his statements made in respect to Stoner. Otherwise continue to ride with egg on your face. No metter what happens at Yamaha, the Ducati saga will remain a festering sore in his career, but it didn't have to be.

I wanna cry reading half these comments (Laughing tears of course..)

Rossi'd Ducati is not Stoner's Ducati? What the H3LL does that mean? The one Rossi climbed on WAS CASEY'S RACE WINNING BIKE!

FACTS: Casey Stoner, 27 race wins on the Duc. Rossi? 0.

At the end, Rossi had VERY LITTLE COMPETITION FOR Most of his championships. I will never say he was average or without talent, but it showed when he had more than one talented rider to race against... Casey is not obliged to stay where he is, and is stronger than most mentally to be able to walk away when he sees this championship becoming the joke it is becoming...

Whoever said "it hurts because it is true" is correct, but Stoner has no need to say this.

He seems quite bitter about his treatment and is quoted as saying a few things recently that might annoy other people, and to what gain???

Maybe its because he knows nobody is going to be looking for quotes from him after the end of this season. He'll maybe never be heard of again after this season and he's getting his 2 pence worth in.

I quite like the guy and massively respect his riding ability, but this is a bit of an unprofessional dig

I'll maybe read the entire article before I pass too much judgement though.

@ Ben...."People seem to forget Casey's Ducati is not Rossi's Ducati. "

It was on the day Rossi road the bike to 15th fastest in testing and Casey put it on pole and 2nd in the race the day before.

Sorry to say but Casey is right and to see Vale walk away from Ducati after achieving absolutely nothing is very dissapointing and there are now so many people out there that totally agree.....sad really, he should have just bit the bullet and stayed at Yamaha and got beaten by Jorge, it would have been better than this.
