MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: It’ll be hard to beat Lorenzo

“The world title is a dream. [We] have to understand if I'm still a top rider, still fast and if I can still fight for the podium. After two seasons like this, nobody knows” - Valentino Rossi.

IF YOU PROUD OF DUCATI YOU ADMIT YOU DID THE DEVELOPMENT.
YOU DEVELOP UNDERSTEER, HEAVY STEERING AGRASSIVE ENGINE, HARD FOR THE TYRES ETC.
NOW HAVE YOUR PRIDE AND SWALLOW YOUR OWN WORD OVER AGAIN.
YOU FUC.ED UP THE BIKE SO BAD IT COULDN'T BE FIXXED EVEN BY ROSSI AND BURGESS.

Did anybody here remember the feature that was about Dainese and how they had to repair more sets of VR's leathers in his first year on the Duc than in his whole motorcycling career?
Not trying? How many sets you get through after going down the road at 100+ ?
Rather than complaining, bitching and generally pontificating on stuff you quite obviously know nothing about, why not enjoy watching the rest of this year's races including looking forward to some great 2013 battles. Otherwise choose another sport and shut the f*** up.

Rossi is switched on at the PR game. This is not being 'humble' - he's smart enough to know that he can't be cocky and arrogant from his current position and performances. It is quite simply SMART to say nice things about Stoner on the Ducati - as he could not get close to CS's results to say anything else would be PR suicide and damage his own image.
The stars are lining up to make it very very possible that VR can podium (Note not win) with 4 front running bikes in the field and a rookie (MM) on one of those (but not guaranteed). VR is very smart to play it down right now - but if he gets a win you can bet that will change in a heartbeat I'll bet.

my money will not go for VR even on 2nd place next season. I feel he is too old already, he will be somewhere fighting with the mid pack ~4th or 5th.
anyway, he will always keep telling that it needs time to adapt to new bike after 2yrs like this (on the Duke). Wake me when VR gets a podium!
