MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: It’ll be hard to beat Lorenzo

“The world title is a dream. [We] have to understand if I'm still a top rider, still fast and if I can still fight for the podium. After two seasons like this, nobody knows” - Valentino Rossi.

Geees! It's a simple press conference, why the hell do people on here start with the negative comments! Rossi is a new team member, he's doing the PR as the comment above says. Planting seeds? Exactly what seeds has he planted? He openly admitted that after the last 2 years he might not have the speed to compete, probably Tongue in cheek but he's saying the right stuff. Even if you don't go a lot on the bloke I really can't see how what he's saying here can draw any negativity from anyone?

Like Jorge changed in MotoGP it seems like Rossi has changed now to after 2 bad years.
a honest awnser from him, and i think Jorge has balls not to put a wall between him its like he almost want rossi to be quickly fast.

they will be a good team together a strong team.
can't wait for 2013, the moment Rossi rides the M1 again.
but first Jorge has to take the 2012 title.

It doesnt even matter is rossi's "still got it". he has nothing to prove to anyone. he just wants to enjoy racing and give the fans some fun, and hopefully this move goes back to that. besides, he's 33 - 34 next year - and will obviously decline, but at least he doesn't wet himself and walk away from the sport he loves and a sport thats been good to him and vise versa...

Dorna will be having a big smile. This is all he wanted. The hype to keep Motogp in the spotlight and Vale's move to Yamaha was perfect. Gonna miss Casey, but must say Vale's Yamaha move has completetly overshadowed his retirement, icing on the cake would be Casey riding that Desmo in 2013...

Here they go again. Crash, do us all a favour and make people register before commenting, perhaps then I won't have to wade through all of this drivel where people comment under made up names sounding as if they know as much about MotoGP as my 4 year old.

Get a grip people, can't you see that Rossi on a Yamaha is going to add excitement whether he wins or loses.

I'm Rapidly losing patience with this forum.

" think Jorge has balls not to put a wall between him its like he almost want rossi to be quickly fast."

No! It shows the level of maturity Lorenzo has compared to Rossi. The wall was stupid and childish at best.
