Massive Casey Stoner fan here...

Vale those were some nice and true comments.

Would really like to see these two come to terms before the end of the season.

I am sure Casey is a good guy, at least better than most people think, just his pride is a little bit hurt... not by Vale... by the media.

Privileged to have seen both race against each other...

This guy is class after what CS said about him, VR still praises CS... form is temporary class is permanent... sooo true.

The sooner people stop making excuses, the sooner the brat of a Stoner will come down from his primadonna self... but I wont hold my breath.

you meant by Vale and amplified by his fans and media right?

Bu yeah that is (although not crystal clear) a good indicative wording by Rossi, unfortunately a bit late as Stoner won't be around next year.

So now he is an Angel for saying the good things he should have said when he jumped on the bike in 2010. There is no "class" in not replying to Casey as there is nothing Rossi could do to argue the points made. He and Burgess did say those things in 2010 and being more polite in 2012 does not change that. I just hope he has not done irreparable harm to the Ducati brand.

Vale sounds really humble....

...and he's going to bring it on the Yamaha. He now knows what a TRUE POS prototype feels like and what it's like to work with a really stubborn manufacturer. He will definitely cherish these last two years at Yamaha.

It's also great to hear confirmation that most, if not all, of his team is going to Yamaha with him.

True legend! With Rossi it's all about racing and having fun on the bike... Sure he makes a few jokes....but all he wants to do is have a good race and he just enjoy's racing... That's the reason he is such a favourite among fans and that's the reason he has had so much success... For all these yrs (except the last 2) he has had success like nobody... A true champion is one who also looses gracefully and accepts it.... Sure he said he can fix the bike and make it better...but when he failed he accepted it... And also agreed that stoner was better on the bike... Now he wants to move on and he will... And I hope he wins a another championship... Stoner might be better Ducati rider but he will never be a true champion.... Its so funny him calling Rossi a quitter when he himself is quitting motogp and is running away with his tail tucked bet his legs... LOL....
