"This track has strange asphalt that has less grip than what we're used to but that still wears the tyres" - Valentino Rossi.

He is an embarrasment and a disgrace and certainly the days when he was argued as GOAT are well and truly gone. I watached him in Qatar in April and he was atrocious but this is very poor and lacks respect for his team. Quitter.

@coyote

" Give it to somebody who is willing to
ride the thing to its limits."

I don't know where you illiterate Foster gobbler heard the word Limit. why would Rossi risk his future riding that donkey around insy. Stoner han't even handle Honda, let alone Ducati. If he was damn good and sure about his ability to ride Ducati, then why he jump shipped to Honda? or if he had balls he'd go ride ducati to ahow us if he's that good. but no, he just like you is a foster gobbler.

"If Stoner had a works Honda from06 Rossi wouldn't have won anything!"

Stoner was on works honda 2011 and won CS. Bike was declared by many commentators and columnists as best of the 800's, his team mate was injured and only had one other rival who also succumb to injury.

Stoner on works honda 2012 and struggling.

Your argument doesnt stack up!

What is he contributing to the development of the bike by riding it at 90%? Zero! So he is a wasting Ducati's resources. He has no intention of pushing the bike to its limit on any track so don't use the excuse of Indianapolis. There is not a bike in the whole world that was successfully developed by going slower than its potential. Since he is not a jockey on it next year they need to start developing for Nicky.

There are some mega double-standards from Rossi fans, not to mention the endless history lessons & stats. Pathetic. I'm waiting for Laguna 2008 to be mentioned (again) or for some nerd to produce a list. Are loads of u sanitation workers in the real world? Cos u recycle a lot of waste material!

It's the VR 'fanboys' I have a beef with. VR may have a massive fanbase, but it sure looks a case of quantity over quality.

Face facts - if these kind of performances were by anyone other than your hero you'd be lining up to shred the guy. What if this Q performance was by Ben? or Cal? or Pedro? or Stoner (oh yes!). But it's not, it's VR - so on with the kid gloves and the glass of warm milk for the guy. One rule for Rossi & another for anyone else.

Vale hasn't been the same racer since breaking his leg in his terrible highside. Which is understandable
That is a difference with Casey. He will get back on and go just as hard.

No disrespect to either rider so don't lose your minds ladies.
